Devoran Recreation Ground:

This land was given to Feock Parish Council by Viscount Clifton as a war memorial to the men of Devoran to be used for recreation and enjoyment of the people of Devoran for all times, 12 September 1919.  The Devoran ward Councillors of the Parish Council act as trustees for the recreation ground and the Parish Council are responsible for its management and maintenance.

Park an Gwarry Children’s Park, Carnon Downs:

The Parish Council own, manage, and are responsible for maintenance of Park an Gwarry playing field. The playing field was refurbished in 2018 with new play equipment installed.

Pengelly Meadows Recreation Area, Carnon Downs:

The Parish Council own, manage and are responsible for the maintenance of this recreation area. An outdoor gym and football area was installed in 2021 and the area is aimed at improving the wellbeing of residents of all ages but specifically for young people and adults.  There is pavement that links the recreation area and Park an Gwarry which was installed by the Parish Council to allow residents and families to walk safely between the two areas.

Retallack Recreation Area, Feock:

The Parish Council own, manage, and are responsible for maintenance of Retallack playing field.  In early 2022 the park was refurbished with new play equipment installed including a new zip wire, toddler trampoline, cone spinner and play house. An outdoor gym was also installed, together with a pathway to enable people to access all areas of the field at all times of the year and to enable residents of all ages to sit and enjoy the views from the park.  A parking area has also been created to ensure visitors cars do not cause congestion on the road.

Point Quay, Green and Orchard:

The Parish Council own Point Quay and Orchard, which is leased to and managed by Point Quay Association who run the very popular annual Point Regatta. 
Point Green is common land and is managed by the Parish Council.


Other Open Spaces:

The Council also own and manage the land at the end of Restronguet Point, Carnon Yard and Mine, a small car park at Penpol and a patch of land on Market Street in Devoran where the Council have installed a garden to represent the history of the Lobb Brothers as part of the Feock Trails Project.

Jubilee Wood:

Jubilee Wood is a public space in Carnon Downs next to the Carnon Inn, which the landowner has kindly opened up for public use, please respect this lovely space and leave it as you would wish to find it.


Devoran Quay:

Devoran Quay is managed by Devoran Quay Preservation Society who arrange the annual Bonfire Night display and popular annual Devoran Regatta.

If you wish to use one of our parks for an organised event we would ask that you seek permission from the Parish Council beforehand (via the Parish Clerk - This email address is being protected from spambots.
