Retallack Recreation Area is now open again with the newly installed outdoor gym, zip wire, toddler trampoline and cone spinner.
Some remedial works are required to tidy the areas around the pathway and also around the gym equipment and this will be carried out shortly, together with some new bench seating and tree planting. The parking area will be opened once the new gates are installed and the grass in the area has had time to become established. Please note the parking area is only for park users and the gates will be locked overnight.
An official opening event similar to the Party in the Park being held for Pengelly Meadows in Carnon Downs will be held at Retallack Recreation Area on Saturday 3rd September.
