Volunteers' Week 2024

Volunteers' Week 2024 Monday 3 June – Sunday 9 June Volunteers' Week celebrates the amazing contributions volunteers make to communities across the UK. It’s a chance to recognise, celebrate and thank the UK’s incredible volunteers for all they contribute to our local communities, the voluntary sector, and society as a whole. In the Parish there are many volunteering opportunities available, as a Parish Council we are always looking for more volunteers either to become Councillors when we have vacancies, or maybe if you don't wish to commit to something so formal you'd like to become a volunteer driver for us helping residents to get to medical appointments or other places in the parish, another volunteer scheme we run is to help out at our MyFeock Repair Cafe, held on the last Tuesday morning of the month at The Hub Carnon Community Church we are always looking for people to help with repairs or even just come along and chat to people whilst they are queuing. For more details about opportunities locally please contact Cathy Whitmore, Wellbeing & Information Adviser on This email address is being protected from spambots.
